After seventeen years of unwavering dedication since 2008, ICBC Doha (QFC) Branch has achieved remarkable progress and significant milestones.

Key accomplishments and milestones:

- RMB Clearing centre: In 2015, H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, and H.E. Sheikh Abdulla Bin Saoud Al-Thani, the Governor of the QCB, inaugurated the first RMB clearing centre in MENA.

- CIPS direct participant: In August 2021, ICBC Doha (QFC) Branch became the first batch of direct participants in the Cross-border Interbank Payment System (CIPS) in MENA.

- Green Financing Framework: In November 2022, ICBC Doha (QFC) Branch launched the first Green Financing Framework "GFF" among the ICBC overseas institutions, marking it as the first bank to introduce the GFF under QFC.

- Libor transition: In December 2022, ICBC Doha (QFC) Branch, in partnership with Qatar's leading bank, executed the first Libor transition deal of USD bond among financial institutions in MENA.
